Yaakov Greenberg grew up in Chicago (West Rogers Park for all those in the know) and graduated from Skokie Yeshiva before coming to learn in Israel. Yaakov spent the next seven years calling Yeshivat Har Etzion his home. During his time in Yeshiva, he completed his Hesder service and served as a shana bet madrich for two years. Currently, Yaakov has just completed his first year with Machon Zimrat Ha’Aretz in the Zayit (Efrat) and his first year of Rabbanut studies through Mizrachi.

Alyssa (Schnipper) Greenberg grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After graduating from Kushner, she studied for a year at Nishmat in Jerusalem. She was so taken with Israel that she decided to make aliyah and do a year of Sherut Leumi at Karen Or, a school for children with severe disabilities. Following her passion of caring for others, she completed a degree in Nursing at Machon Tal and currently works at Sharei Tzedek.
