Tamar and Noam are high school sweethearts from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tamar graduated from Kosloff Torah Academy, and Noam from Kohelet Yeshiva High School. After spending Shana Alef and Shana Bet at Midreshet HaRova, Tamar made Aliyah and completed a year of Sherut Leumi at Pelech Banim. Noam took a slightly different path—after his Shana Alef and Bet at Yeshivat Reishit, he returned to the U.S. to attend Yeshiva University. However, the pull of Israel (and Tamar) was too strong to resist! They got married three months ago and now live in Herzliya, where Tamar is studying at IDC, and Noam is finishing up his business degree.
